Tyler Cameron: From Jupiter Homeboy to TV Star

From season fifteen of The Bachelorette to the mobile-only streaming service Quibi to Single Parents, The Bachelorette alum Tyler Cameron has kept busier than ever while enjoying in his spare time in his hometown of Jupiter.

Jupiter homeboy Tyler Cameron has made the leap from college football quarterback to a licensed contractor to reality TV star, all in just a few years.

Growing up the son of a successful contractor in South Florida, Tyler followed that path at FAU earning a master’s in business administration after he got injured playing football. In school, he met Matt James, who fast became his best friend.

His show, called Barkitecture, debuted on the short-lived app network Quibi. Cameron spent months out in Los Angeles with his co-host, interior designer Delia Kenza, who he had met in NY. The duo visited stars’ homes, met the pooches, and got a feel for what the ultimate dog house would look like. Then they would retreat to their design studio to plot and build the houses’ exterior and interiors.

“It was a really fun gig,” Tyler says beaming. “I love dogs and custom, creating these little worlds for them and the owners was fun. Each house took about 5 to 6 days to build. I get along really well with Delia. The best part was the reveals and getting up into the houses with the dogs. We’re hoping it will get picked up for another season.”
